Yay Math is back in the classroom for a video from the vault, yay math! Here, the Mathema-GYPTIAN builds pyramids of deeper understanding for the ellipse, one of the major conic sections. In this one example, we're given the major axis and minor axis lengths, the center, and some other characteristics in order to obtain the equation of the parabola in standard form. Then we obtain the focal points, or foci. YAY MATH!
