Writing equations in math is just like any other language. Once we're familiar with the translations, we use substitution to switch between the math and the English, then the language flows. Those words include difference, sum, product, and quotient. Higher level terms include concepts such as squared, or cubed. These open sentences are the key to solving real-world word problems, because they provide insights on how to understand them.

Welcome to Yay Math in Studio, where in a fun and informal vibe, we learn concepts in math while making it human and connective.
