Quadratics Playlist for Algebra 1

Quadratic equations are basically "code" for all variations of y = x squared. They form parabolas, which are bowl shaped graphs, either facing up or down. (They can face left and right too, but that's covered in Algebra 2). Here we'll learn how to graph them, and solve them when y = 0. And the fun part is that every video features either a yaymath.org T-shirt, or Star Trek. No better gear exists?

  • The worksheet contains the exact problems we cover in the video. Just print the sheet and work along with the class.

  • Take the quiz right after the video, to see how well you learned it.
